Album

Point of No Return is an album by American singer Frank Sinatra, released in 1962. As the title reflects, the album contains Sinatra's final original recordings with Capitol Records before moving to his own Reprise Records label to achieve more artistic freedom with his recordings. However, Sinatra would later return to Capitol in order to record Duets 1993 and Duets II 1994. Point of No Return - Frank Sinatra. Released in 1962, Sinatra had already begun his recordings for his self-founded recording label, Reprise. Sinatra, to fulfill his contract, only took a two-day session in September 1961 to record and finish up his work at Capitol with this album. At the time he recorded his final Capitol album, Point of No Return, Frank Sinatra was no longer interested in giving his record label first-rate material, preferring to save that for his new label, Reprise. However, someone persuaded the singer to make the album a special occasion by reuniting with Axel Stordahl, the arrangerconductor who helped Sinatra rise to stardom in the '40s he also arranged the vocalist's first Capitol session, so his presence gave a nice sense of closure to the Capitol era. No One Cares by Frank Sinatra Audio CD . This is not my favorite Sinatra album but the arrangements are beautiful and it's a wonderful thing Frank did bringing Axel Stordahl in for certainly Franks last album and I think maybe Stordahl's last album as he would succumb to cancer not long after. If you know about Frank's early years at Columbia, then you're well aware of Frank's collaboration with Stordahl during that period. We just don't hear string arrangements like this anymore - drippingly sweet. Поп 1962
