Album

Father of the Bride is the fourth studio album by American indie rock band Vampire Weekend. It was released on May 3, 2019 by Columbia Records, as their first album on a major label. The release marked the band's first project in nearly six years, following Modern Vampires of the City 2013, and the group's first project since multi-instrumentalist and producer Rostam Batmanglij's departure from the group. It was primarily produced by Modern Vampires of the City collaborator Ariel Rechtshaid and lead. Vampire Weekend embraces quantity over quality on Father of the Bride. Photo: Chiaki NozuRedfernsGetty Images. Growing up is mellowing out. You reach a point in your 30s where the reckless habits and patterns of your 20s become impossible to maintain. Either you get wise to the changing rhythms of your brain and body or you start to come undone a little. People start shacking up and getting scarce at that point in their lives not just because theyre boring or because some latent biological imperative to keep the planet populated activates in their DNA, but because its simply too physically and emotionally expensive to try. I guess that's what Father of the Bride is-unfocused. It's not a bad album, but I'd have to give it three and a half stars. I like the experimentation. This has to be my favourite album of 2019 so far. Stand-out tracks include Father of the Bride, Gold Rush and Big Blue but are in truth too numerous to mention. Memorable melodies, with swoon full harmonies from Danielle Haim. Love it . For faster navigation, this Iframe is preloading the Wikiwand page for Father of the Bride album
