Album

Beaubourg is a studio album by the Greek electronic composer Vangelis, released in July 1978. It was the fourth album produced by Vangelis in Nemo Studios, London, and his final album for RCA Records. It is an avant-garde-experimental album. It is a concept album inspired by the architecture of the homonymous complex area, specifically Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. He visited the area in 1977, and recalls I was very impressed. Beaubourg is one of those albums where you either like it or you don't. it's been a topic talked about with many Vangelis fans. It's an album in my opinion that more or less showed Vangelis in a sort of freestyle mode. creating different sounds & effects while showing his ability at doing what he does so well. Yes fans you either like it or you don't but make no mistake it is nothing like his other albums but that's not necessarily a bad thing here. Supposedly this experimental album can be interpreted in two ways. Cynics will argue that being contractually obliged to provide one last RCA album before switching to Polydor, Vangelis quickly dashes off this work. In terms of music the album is a bit of a rarity it is v. Band Name Vangelis. Album Name Beaubourg. Type Album. 发布日期 1978. 出版公司 RCA Records. Beaubourg Part 2. Total playing time. Buy this album.
